Data Modules are organized into a tree structure preventively generated through a series of guided procedures which create the project branches accordingly to the specification.
DMaddress and ID-Status values are handled to obtain unique identification of a Data Module inside the project.
A special administration of different issues of a Data Module and their relative Working Copy is made.
CSDB is populated by both starting from a scratch Data Module or importing an external one.
In the last case strict controls are carried out in order to guarantee consistency with CSDB information.
Every illustration inserted in the CSDB is associated to a unique identificator, the ICN.
The CSDB is populated with images in two ways: directly, importing an image, or importing a Data Module which contains some images.
When a Data Module comes into the CSDB, a control is carried out to assign the correct ICN to each new image.
Moreover it is possible to create new ICN issues, ICN variants and ICN drafts to be linked to a specific project in the CSDB.
A Publication Module is defined in terms of contained Data Modules or in terms of PM Address and Status Information.
A PM can contain Data Modules belonging to different projects.
A PM can also contain an information specifying destination media (paper, CD, DVD, Web, OnLine).
